Electrical Engineering

First degree (engineer) studies, second degree (master degree) studies, full-time and part-time studies.

Studies at the course of Electrical Engineering prepare graduates for solving complex engineering problems in the area of broadly defined electrotechnics by using modern methods and tools of electronics and computer engineering. They are prepared to work e.g. in engineering, power plants.

Skills and knowledge of graduates:

  • modern methods of electrical installations and lighting design,
  • energy-efficient systems,
  • high voltage technique,
  • electric power quality,
  • diagnosis of electromechanical systems,
  • industrial CNC systems,
  • control of electrical drives
  • electric metrology

Computer Engineering

First degree (engineer) studies, second degree (master degree) studies, full-time and part-time studies.

During the studies graduates from the course of Computer Engineering acquire necessary knowledge and skills in the area of solving of basic information technology problems, preparation, realisation and verification of information technology projects, as well as using IT tools.

Skills and knowledge of graduates:

  • programming and operation of computer equipment, software development, computer graphics and animation,
  • design of complete IT systems,
  • prototyping and implementation of computer networks, design of network software,
  • database systems and Internet technologies.

Electronics and Telecommunications

Automatic Control and Robotics

Studies at the course of Automatic Control and Robotics allow the students to solve engineering and research problems in the field of control systems.

  • design and exploitation of control systems,
  • robotics and mechatronics
  • design and exploitation of controllers,
  • construction of microcontrollers,
  • design and use of robot systems for manufacturing,
  • measuring technique.

Electromobility

First degree (engineer) studies, full-time studies.

The electromobility course deals with the problems of electric and hybrid vehicles. It gives knowledge and skills in designing power electronic traction converters and converters for charging stations. Graduates are able to select and design electric drives. They know the types and characteristics of energy storage, including their physical and chemical properties. They are familiar with the functioning of on-board electronic and microprocessor control systems. They have basic knowledge and skills to use IT tools in electromobility, they are familiar with safety problems in the functioning of IT systems.
